Just arrived Scalextric Need for Speed C1239

Today we have take delivery of the new Scalextric set Need for speed C1239
This set comes from a new angle from Scalextric, by featuring a set modelled from a computer game. This shows the power of PC and console games have on the market with the development of brand names coming from such games. This is surly a great marketing coop by Scalextric and I would not be surprised to see further sets released from games such as grand tourismo once its full release is available on the PS3.
The set contains 2 DRP cars that are both unique to the set so the cars are surely going to become collectors favourites.
The track layout with a leap, side swipes and a flat crossover you will have plenty of action on this analogue track. The track will not suit any other cars than the robust range of cars due to the very high chance of crashing on the track.
We feel this set will catch the eye of many young people between the ages of 8-14 at Christmas with the link to the console game.
