Scalextric have been taken by surprise with two limited edition box sets this year and they are already sold out before the item has been released.
It was not really a surprise that the Willams/Mansell and McLaren/Senna - C2971A would sell out featuring the iconic race between Mansell and Senna at the Monaco grand prix. when both drivers where in their prime, after leading for most of the race Mansell punctured with a few laps remaining and had to pit only to find himself behind Senna and the pair battled to the line with Mansell trying every trick to pass but to no avail.
The second box set that is sold out is the Alan Mann Escort/Cortina - C2981A. This box set features the popular Escort and Cortina cars with the Alan Mann livery.
We have only a few of each box set left from our allocation from Scalextric. We are trying to obtain further stock but we do not think we are going to be able to possible. So place your order soon to avoid disappointment.
