Top Gear Cars have arrived

The last two Top Gear cars have just arrived in stock.
Both cars are well detailed but are not equipped with DPR. We presume that Scalextric have used the old chassis moulds to create these cars to cut costs but offer the cars as Highly detailed cars that are subject to the higher price. Put that aside the Top Gear Ford GT C2984 comes in a lovely livery with the white stripes over the bonnet make this a great looking car. The Top Gear McLaren SLR C2983 the popular silver livery for Mercedes is kept from previous models. Mercedes are not my favourite cars so I personally are not taken by this car but however in the past these cars have always sold well, so there must be a large following of Mercedes collectors.
Overall I feel a little disappointed in the use of old parts for these cars as Scalextric are not producing any digital cars for purchase straight out the box makes these cars not for everyone with the fact that you will need to use the digital chip C7006 and soldering iron the car for use on digital tracks. If you have an analogue track then the Top Gear range of cars are nice enough to add to your collection.
