New Micro Scalextric Disney Cars 2 G1073 set and McLaren MP4-12C G1074

To coincide with the release of the film Scalextric have releases their Micro Scalextric Disney Cars 2 set G1073. If this set is going to be as popular as Micro Scalextric cars first set than there is going to be a shortage come Christmas time. The set itself is not that great as due to the licensing costs it does lessen the value for money for the set but kids will not be bothered by this as they will all be fighting over who is going to race as Lightning McQueen.

The second set is another collaboration, only this time it comes from McLaren. Scalextric have close ties with McLaren and now McLaren have ventured in to the world of road cars it seems that they want their cars everywhere to raise the profile of their new super car. This set we feel is far better value for money as you get a far bigger track for your money and there is a £5.00 saving to be had on the McLaren set.
