The expected precipitation of slot cars has started. With no releases to speak of since the start of the year, the window of releases has been shortened and Scalextric are due to be releasing about another 10 - 12 cars in the next 3 weeks.
The first one of the day is a Ford Mustang Trans-Am C3107. I’m not a lover of the American muscle cars but this particular car is a good looking creation from Scalextric.
The Ford GT-R Black Swan Racing C3136 is the complete opposite to the Mustang, I love the same of the new ford GT-R but this livery does not do the car any justice. It could be a car for the collectors only as we do not see any racers wanting to add this bright turquoise car to their racing collection.
As ever Carrera produce distinctive shapes and liveries complete with excellent detail for a lower price compared to Scalextric. This set of release will not disappoint any one. This 1:32 Scale evolution set of cars are fantastic.
